Guilt FREE Snacks You’ll LOVE!

I love having something to munch on during my favourite movie, but its nice to have some healthier options when you don’t always want to be indulging. Here are a few ideas:

  • Popcorn with nutritional yeast

I pop my own popcorn (get rid of the microwave popcorn) on the stove with either coconut or grapeseed oil. Melt and pour some melted coconut oil or grass fed butter on top, generously sprinkle your popcorn with nutritional yeast, and voila, you’ve got yourself a yummy snack!

  • Sliced Apple

Sliced apple is delicious on it’s own, but I like adding nut butter with a sprinkle of cinnamon & hemp hearts with a little drizzle of honey.

  • Rice Cakes with Toppings

Rice cakes are such an easy go-to snack, low calorie and super versatile. I like my rice cakes topped with anything from peanut butter & jam, to avocado with salt & pepper and egg salad (made with avocado oil mayo- find here

  • Homemade Granola

Okay confession- I am actually obsessed with this recipe I found for homemade granola pumpkin ( Recipe here). I eat it on top of  unsweetened cultured coconut yogurt, plain greek yogurt, or with cashew or soy milk!

  • Veggies with hummus

This is always a classic snack, as it’s super easy to put together & there are so many flavours of hummus to enjoy.

Don’t feel like making anything?

Here are a few guilt free snacks I buy myself (most can be found at Costco for amazing prices)

  • Veggie Straws
  • Marys Crackers
  • Terra Vegetable Chips
  • Buddha Bowl Popcorn
